How to calm a extreme crying baby? perhaps tried all the way to soothe my baby but sometimes it goes in vain.. please help

A. the baby is 1 year 7 months of age if baby is crying continuously it is important to know the cause of crying whether having any ear pain are pain in the stomach are hunger
