U Would be very surprised to know a lot of time to deficiency of iron in the body kit do not make eye contact that’s normal but if your child is not even responding to the name along with that there could be a issue weather delayed growth can possibly be seen because I’ve seen the same thing with my own child so I am going to advise you to consult a child psychologist one and go to the block that I have posted if you see anything similar or what I am writing thank you definitely should consult a psychologist Enugu

development by the age of 2 years the child should be able to speak few words with meaning in the sentence and should be able to understand all the commands and orders 
given by the parents and if you feel that they are not present in your child it is important to meet your pediatrician to assess the growth milestones of the child and whether there is any need of therapy or not.
if child has goocd understanding and follows 
orders and command of the parents properly then do not worry much about speech as will eventually come. talk more with child. avoid tv mobile laptop. involve more people to interact with the child
