hii, m in my 8th mnth of pregnancy n recently suffered pre term labour threatening. I wz hospitalized n of duvadilan drips were administered from dat time onwards am hvin swelling in d legs n lower abdominal heaviness. is it normal?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. If after taking the drip, swelling in legs and abdominal swelling is present, you should immediately consult with your doctor for proper examination as it is Many times not normal and needs immediate treatment.

Swelling in the legs is normal during pregnancy but if it is heavy swelling then you should put your feet into warm water and add some salt into that that’s going to give you relief and if the lower abdomen pain is there then it’s important that you consult your gynaecologist
