You can give other food like sooji kheer, rice kheer, thick soups made from a mixture of pulses, cereals and seasonal vegetables, rice-daal khichdi etc.

Yes u can give rice.
Apart from this u can also give cerelac,daal ka pani,ripe banana apple puree,ragi porridge,pumpkin puree, mashed potatoes, sweet potato etc to ur baby.
