hii Dr... my son 2.7yr old..he is surrring from cold and cough.....I give maxtra syp for cold....but I have no idea for cough..PlZ suggest me best syup of cough....

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
aloxng witxh that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

Keep her hydrated by giving her a spoon of lukewarm water every hour in the day time
don't use demineralized water for drinking
use simply purifed water having tds higher than 350
keep a bowl full of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far over night
