Q.

hii doctor ..My son is 7.5m old he fell from bed and his head bump hard..bt after some minutes of crying he is now playing and behaving normal...is there any reason to worry plz suggest

A. thank you doctor.. he is now playing and behaving normal..M little worried is he fine?

A. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided agys it can lead to some chronic manifestations occasionally . Also teeth injury should be rule ouht in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .
