hi this is mom of 8 month old baby boy he is on breast feed. after every semi solid food he takes only 4 spoons of water. later he asks me to breast feed. is it ok he refuses to drink water

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. It is normal with babies it’s okay if baby takes few sips of water after meals and you can give coconut water homemade juices to the baby as well take care

It is not a good thing that the child is refusing to take water but it is a normal thing so we cannot blame the child says water is completely tasteless which is my kids do not like it so it’s okay but if you are giving four teaspoons try to increase the water content you can also give it after two or three teaspoons 1 after three or four bytes so that your child slowly get used to it
