Hi there, my baby is one and half month old and he usually has shortness of breath while having breastfeed otherwise on other time he is breathing normally with some periodic fast breathing. So shortness of breath while feeding is normal???

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent., sunce babies are small and for them breast feeding is a big task and they get tired due to that.
But you should also give steam to your baby for few minutes and several times in a day. As steam actually helps in opening up nasal passages and also clears congestion of the baby. Consult your doctor if necessary
