Q.
Hi Sir NY Baby is 16 month old. Baby is suffering from cold from 4 days. I am giving citerzin syrup for baby which is suggested by doctor. Still Baby is not recovered from cold. Nose was closed, Baby is unable to take breath from nose while Baby is having milk. Please suggest me the solution to overcome from cold for my baby.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations .
For cold you can give drops wikoryl AF 0.5 ml to the child 2-3 times per day.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful.
Home remedies like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honfey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink
If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
paracetamol for fever and pain

I suggest you please consult with your pediatrician about this matter
please give gentle massage on chest and limbs with Babyhug rapid relief rub
please give daily sun light exposure
