Q.

hi, my son is 2.5 years old and doesn't like to do potty in seat, he still uses diaper for the same and do potty while standing. I have tried alot , he pee on the seat and also tel me about that he wants to pee or do potty bt refuses to seat. plz.advice

A. Hi Dr. Sameer, thank you for your reply. I had tried the actions what u have mentioned bt still I m not getting him to do the potty on the seat. I had started this training almost 2 months back. My son do indicate me whether he want to pee or do potty. He himself pee in the washroom bt for potty he tell me to give him.diaper.

A. Potty Training can be started after the age of 2 yrs.for this you need to develop a conditioned reflex in the child by fixing a particular time regularly in which the child should be sitted over the potty seat .do not force the child instead make it a playful activity and not to make the child repulsive about it.slowly the child will learn to indicate before the timte.
