hi, my son 4months old have a cold but not fever, how can i take care of him?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitusrsives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prdescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

I advise to apply Babyhug rapid relief rub on chest and back of your child
give breasfeeding as per your child needs .
it Contains antibodies which help your child to fight against such Infection.
give sunbath for 20 minutes a day
