hi my baby is 45 days old. usko 5 days se stool pass nahi hua. what shall I do?

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. nothing to panic. It is normal for the baby to not pass motion freely even for up to one week if the baby is on breastfeeding so no need to worry . if it is above one week or baby s in trouble then you can apply glycerine suppository for easy motion of the baby . no syrup for medicine is given orally till 2 years of age for constipation by self as not recommended.

Between 6 weeks and 3 months of age, the frequency of pooping typically decreases. Many babies poop only once a day and some as infrequently as once a week.
