Q.
Hi , My baby is 4 months old.Iam breastfeeding him.Suddenly for Past few weeks he is not taking milk from 1 side. Tried different positions but no luck. while I lift him and trying to change side itself he started crying. Can you please what to try for this.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. yes it is very commonly seen that the child will take breastfeeding from only one breast properly and will not be comfortable when taking breastfeeding from other breast.
it is very important to give breastfeeding from both the breast otherwise there will be abnormal increase in size of one breast and the other breast will be small.
see for proper position attachment while givinge breastfeeding from other1 breast. you can take help of breastfeezding pillow as well as meet lactation expert and see videos on youtube regarding position and attachment while breastfeeding s
