it is not advisable to give gripe water to the child on the regular basis because at the end it is a type of medicine which will help in decreasing the colic pain but yes it has got side efffects so do not give this without medical consultation.
it contains sodium bicarbonate as well as plenty of sugars which has got side effects for such a small child

In general, Gripe water is not recommended these days as most of them contain alcoholic ingredients which is not good for babies. Definitely it is not advisable to give gripe water on a regular basis. If ur baby has indigestion or colic issues then please consult with ur pediatrician and follow his advice on this.
