Q.

Hi my baby is 105 days old. My baby got fever on sunday. Iam using paracetomol drops since sunday to Tuesday morning(today). Baby regular vaccine is scheduled on Wednesday. once if the fever reduces on Tuesday. Is it ok to proceed for baby 14 weeks vaccine on Wednesday. Plz suggest.

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a doose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you caan also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
