due to pressure on one side of the head during sleeping there is flatness / abnormal shape on that side of the head. 
no treatment is required for flat head / bumpy head and you will see that by one year to two years of age the flat head will go away as soon as the child begins to sit and later walk.
pillows will not help much in this case so do not worry.
the bones in the skull are elastic so to give space to the growing brain it takes different shdape and when the growth of the brain occurs properly then gradually they will take a normal shape. 
at your level you can give different sleeping position to the child. also give tummy time more often which will also decrease the pressure on the back of the head.

hello if the head circumference is more then it would be better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you with the proper examination of the same and advise you accordingly which would be better and safe and nothing to worry about and not a problem
