Q.

Hi, my baby has the tendency to eat powder and sand... why it's so and is this the symptom of some deficiency?

A. hello this can be due to calcium deficiency and it would require a proper medical attention and it is better to check with your doctor and he will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which would be better and safe
