Q.

Hi, My babies are 4 months old now. Few times they sleep for 6 to 9hrs & do not wake up for milk in between. Is it ok to not to feed for 6 to 9 hrs or shall I awake them in between and feed them?

A. no dear 5-6 hrs gap as baby is sleeping at night is fine but 9 hrs without feed is not okay as may loss appetite if you don't feed try comforting as feeding rub the head and back

Q. My family says that they used to let a baby sleep for good 5-6 hours as they grow in sleep. But now it is said that we must wake them up every 3-4 hours at least for feed. I am really confused.
