Q.

hi...my 6 month baby have cold n cough n fever from last 3 days ...and I am giving relent syrup 2 ml n dolo 1 ml....cold is reduced n little bit cough is reduced n fever also reduced but..his voice is not clear...his voice is low...plz give suggestions

A. it's already I gave give 3 days syrup....how much days it took sor

A. can I give steam to 6 month baby......but is voice is very bad....

A. Cough is a protective reflex of the body to expel out the mucus or any irritant factor from the respiratory tract which is most of the time assosiated with cold due to any viral or bacterial infection . A proper examination is required to find the cause . As a home remehdy you can start with steam inhalation . Cough can be treated with cough suppressant or antitussives as per the cause. For cold antihistamines are useful and ntasal saline drops are also benifecial .
