A. Method.
Wash your hands.
Apply a thin layer of a water-based lube or water to the rim of the cup. This will make it easier to insert.
Fold the menstrual cup in half. “You want to place the folded cup in one hand and keep the rim face up,” explains Dr. ...
Insert the cup. ...
Rotate it.
Lubrication
When you use a menstrual cup for the first time, it may feel uncomfortable. But “greasing” your cup can help make the process smooth. Before you put in your cup, lubricate the rim with water or a water-based lube (lubricant). A wet menstrual cup is much easier to insert.
Folding
The C fold is the most common and the easiest menstrual cup fold. However, some women find the sanity cup to wide folded like this, which may causes discomfort. The C Fold is recommended when using a soft menstrual cup such as the Me Luna Soft, as it springs open easily.
