hi mam /sir I'm 30 years old. 3 days back dentist extract the wisdom tooth. dr saying second molar also form the pus and bone loss is occur. they recommend to extract the second molar also. I upload the before 5 days x ray. is that compulsory to extract the tooth or any chance of root canal. plz confirm me it is helpfull for me

ExpertDr Suruchi JunejaPediatric Dentist3 months agoA. This xray surely shows an infected second molar . It doesnt seem to be indicated for extraction. It might be saved by doing root canal treatment as you have already got it done on the other side. Please consult an endodontist for correlating these findings clinically
