Periods may start after one and half month
after delivery or not even till one year after delivery. And remains irregular for about 1 year. So not to worry about it. Just have proper sleep with good nutrition. Use proper contraceptive method.

if your exclusively breastfeeding you are child you a period might get a delayed till 1 yr.
if you are gaining weight it can be because of different reason such as less exercise and also may be because of over eating so control over your diet and award the sugar and oily food.
try to feed your child more even if you have less milk, it will produce more milk if the child will suck
