hi mam. i am mom of 12 days old baby. started breastfeeding from the second day of my delivery cos i delivered through c sec. i have a problem in breastfeeding. i am getting severe pain in my nipples while breastfeeding. it persists for three to five minutes after starting feeding. i used nipcare ointment and also used coconut oil, but it dint reduce my pain. pls say any solution for my problem. i cant even enjoy breastfeeding because of this pain.

They can develop for many reasons including a poor breastfeeding latch, allow your baby a good latch. 
talk to your doctor, a lactation consultant, or a local breastfeeding group  .

These Mostly used to heal cracked nipples they got nothing to do with your pain they are not going to settle on your pain it is a nerve pain which you feel something when you start breastfeeding hopefully it is going to settle down within one week to 10 days time if you need you can consult your doctor and start with some painkiller if needed
