Q.

Hi..I have twins of boys and they are 6 months old now. my first baby is having vomiting from day 1 and we consult multiple pediatrician and used many syrups too but no luck.. still he is having the same problem.. but the happiest thing here is my baby is putting on weight but want a permanent solution for his vomitings.. please pore your suggestions

A. gastroesophageal reflux disease also known as g e r d is very common problem in small children less than 6 months of age and it does not have any permanent treatment and the problem decreasesd with increasing age of the child and the important thing is that you have to keep the child in upright position for more duration for which gerd chairs are available and at the same time you dhave to continue and tested medicines given by the doctor. reflux is very common cause of recurrent cough cold as well as not gaining weight in infants.
