ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. The intrauterine contraceptive device is better inserted immediately after your period sir over preferably on the fifth day. To threads will be there at the end of the IUD and while having intercourse there is a chance of it to be visible outside. If you want it can be cut until the end but for the removal you will have to go to the doctor to get it removed properly and it Might require some intervention. Anyhow for the maintenance of PCOD you have to take hormonal treatment and that will also give you a contest to cover. Consult your doctorWrite Your Answer Here
