Hi I am mother of 3 month old baby. my baby is frequently straining either trying to pee or for flatus. yesterday I noticed small bright red rectal prolapse during passing of stool . Initially the stool was thik but later on it was projectile with prolapse. I am worried

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. it may be urine inf . Any pediatrician should examine the baby as it may be some under lying problem with the baby . If fever is there then paracetamol can be given for immediate relief . No any medication without consulting doctor .
