hi, I am currently at my 31 weeks of pregnancy and my amniotic fluid level is 5.3cm but doctor says afl is normal but when I search in google it is the border range value and it's less. can anyone confirm is this normal or I have to increase afl. if I have to increase can you suggest me some tips to increase it

A. the AFI level 5.3 is very less hand you need to be very careful to keep proper watch on baby movements as if more reduced it is not good for the baby if needed you should take a second opinion by some other doctor Having low AFI Level usual you should increase your tender coconut water intake and liquids and have proper follow up with your doctor as this is also related to low weight of the Baby so increase more of protein intake In your diet or start with a protein supplement

A. It is actually less the average or good we would say would be somewhere from 8.5 to 14 or 15 this is really less further how do you need to increases for that you’ll have to check with your doctor also I would say that sometimes when the fluid is reducing down you might have to go for an emergency emergency C-section so be mentally sorted about it
