Q.
Hi I am a Mother Of 3 years and 11 months old Daughter. My Concern is That My Husband is a Bengali and I am Kayasth... We Stay In Bangalore. I speak Hindi and English and My Husband Speaks Bengali Now My Daughter Speaks Hindi either English to which my Mother in law gets irritated and tries to teach her Bengali with Different Methods But She Still Doesn't Speak Bengali And She Doesn't want to speak Bengali... I've even tried to enroll her in a Bengali speaking class but she doesn't want to go... Although she is learning kannada as the school has introduced her kannada Language so now my home has become a battle ground for me and as well as for my daughter as well... My Mother In Law Has Taken It on her Nerves And She keeps on Brainwashing My Daughter About speaking Hindi and My Culture.... My Husband supports me but now the house has become so toxic and this is very concerning for me kindly suggest me something... What To Do ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. For the query asked needs consultation with doctor for phroper guidance so it is better that the doctor will guide you the correct way .
Online consultation can also be taken and the expert will give you the proper answeur .

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello it is end of the day the language your child comfortable with and you cannot force your child and it would be better if you can talk with your mil and make her understand and if it is not possible talk with your hubby and see what you can be doing
