Hi! I ahve been using nipple shield since the last 2 months as I have flat nipples and even though I have been trying to make him feed without shield, he takes it for a few seconds and than gets fussy and refuse feeding. How long can one nipple shield be used and is it okay to sterilize it once a day? how do i stop him from feeding through shield? #asktheexperts

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy2 years agoA. Hello dear parent, we'll your baby is now getting in habit of those shield. Ypu should try and guve feed for feed fewer times in a day without shield and now that your baby is 2 ko ths old he will be able to latch in to your breast directly. So do nkt worry.
