hi Dr for me 7th week th pregnant there is no heartbeat dr told we will wait for one week heartbeat will come or not pls tell dr pls pls

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. Generally, from 6 ½ -7 weeks is the time when a heartbeat can be detected and viability can be assessed. A normal heartbeat at 6-7 weeks would be 90-110 beats per minute. The presence of an embryonic heartbeat is an assuring sign of the health of the pregnancy.
You can continue tablet Folic acid and tablet susten 200 for one week more and repeat the sonography for proper confirmation

In a lot of cases doctors wait up till the time of 12 weeks because heartbeat can come by that time if it comes then that’s going to be good but we cannot give you guarantee for that as of now you’ll just have to process with an ultrasound to know whether the heartbeat is there or not
