Q.

Hi Doctor, My son is 3.5 months old and he started vomiting from yesterday with a huge quantity. He took a vaccination 3 days back. Once I feed he is vomiting immediately and I will keep burning even though he is vomiting. Is this because of vaccination or mother food intake problems? please advice on this

A. no due to vaccination or mother's diet for vomiting you can give drops domstal or drops perinorm 2 to 3 drops half an hour before feed and then wait for 15 to 20 minutes and then you can give feeding. during this time please keep the child in an upright position. vomiting medicines can be given maximum 3 times per day if required. it is important to meet the doctor to rule out any obstruction and regurgitation and reflux issues in the child

A. Vomiting is common and normal in this age got no connection with you having protein or with the vaccination that you have got done maybe you’re over feeding the child so feed your child on demand and then give a burp and next week should be given only when your child is demanding when it is three hours or four hours you should wait patiently for that
