Q.

Hi doctor my daughter is 5months 5days old i have one confusion, the vaccine scheduled for her at 6 months shall be given once she completes her 6 months or as she is currently running in her 6 months we can go for a shot (flu shot)

A. after the end of 6 month vaccine. flu vaccine also known as influenza vaccine is very important for decreasing the chances of viral infection by at least 60% in your child. the first dosage is given at the end of 6 months and the second dosage at the end of 7 months and then every year till completion of 7 years of age. previously it was an optional vaccine but now it is considered as an important vaccine for children. flu vaccine can be started at any age. best time for flu vaccine is usually just before rainy season on set

A. hello the vaccination to be given after the baby company 6 months and any concern it would be better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you accordingly which would be better and also safe and absolutely nothing to worry about and not a problem
