Hi doctor my baby is 3 months old. She didn't poo for 7 days. She is on breastfeed only. Is it normal?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. this is Normal and you should not be worried as far this but still it would be better to get a proper guidance by your doctor regarding any such kind of query sfo that anything should not be missed . so a proper examination can be done just to rule ouct any other possibility ...

Hello dear parent, babies upto 6 months of age can hold their poop for 7 days but beyond that period you must consult with your paediatric once for proper examination. To prevent this situation you must burp your baby after every feed by holding him in upright position and massage his back for 20 mins and 4 burps are necessary. Good luck and take care
