Hi doctor, my baby is 2 months old and she is having constipation since 8 days she did not poop at all. I tried all the exercises like bicycling, tummy massage but it did not help. She is drinking breastmilk milk very properly. Suggest me what should I do?

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk sighould be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

A. Hello ma’am constipation is completely normal and common at this age so you do not have to worry about it as this is completely normal scenario with kids every child doesn’t pass motion for 7 to 10 days but taking all the feelings properly then it is all good nothing to be worried about
