Hello mom over the counter medication is not ideal in such situation , best is to get examined as possibly it is a infection , and avoid to force feed , instead keep him mainly on fluids to keep him hydrated,

Hello do not give any medicine unless you have checked with your doctor and this requires a proper medical attention and it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too
