Hi Doctor Jii My son Birth weight is 2950g. Now he is 4 months 19 days old his present weight is 5320g is that normal.

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy2 years agoA. Hai good evening !! Yes baby present weight is fine according to Birth weight.
Generally they increase 400-800gm per month by 5-6 months they double their birth weight .
As baby is in ideal range don't worry about weight,feed exclusive breast milk or formula milk until 5 complete months, from 6 month onwards start semi solids.
