Q.

Hi Doctor, In my Vaccination tracker Meningococcal vaccine is not there hence we have not given to our one year old baby. Today when I saw one of my frds baby vaccine tracker there it mentioned with one vaccine on ninth month and other on 12 th month. can you pls advise is it necessary to give MCV vaccine? if yes how can I plan the two doses now? Thanks in advance

A. meningococcal vaccine is optional vaccines so it is not important that all children should be given this vaccine. also after two years of age you have to give only one dosage so you can plan at that time also
