hi doctor! in my 32weeks scan report found left kidney 6mm and right kidney 8mm apd..is there anything to worry abt as highlighted renal pyelactasis.. please mom's u don't reply as always am getting the same answers as consult doctor ,when u guys don't know why u are simply replying.

A. there is always a little bit of difference between the sizes of two body parts be it any hands eyes ear so it is quite natural the internal body parts are also having a little bit difference if your doctor is not pointing out you should not worry

Q. Hello, I underwent anomaly scan and was told that my baby doesn't have left kidney. No ectopic kidney as well. Right kidney is normal and rest of the organs and features are normal. Is there any chance that the left kidney was not visualized in the scan due to baby position or some other reason? I am considering to get another scan done at another center for confirmation.
