Q.

Hi doc, want to ask what should we do if the TSH that is the thyroid level for my almost 8 yr old shows high/ out of range???as I hv heard startling thyroid med in such a small age is not recommended

A. If you don’t start giving thyroid medication then that will hamper the growth of the child and also the intelligence of the child. First of all consult a pediatric endocrinologist and get the child evaluate it first and then go according to their adviceWrite Your Answer Here
