ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. Bleeding often lasts for around for four to six weeks, but could last up to 12 weeks after your baby's born . Bleeding will start off heavy and red to browny red. It will become lighter in colour and flow over time .
If it does not reduce, consult with your doctor .

See the bleeding should not be there for more than maximum 40 to 45 days after your surgery but if you have finished with your post pregnancy bleeding and again it has started then maybe you have reached your regular period but if that is not the case and the bleeding is continuously happening after your C-section kindly consult your doctor once
