Hey please share your experience after covid vaccination as baby is ebf.. planning to get jabbed

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Covid vaccination like covishield/ covaxin in the breastfeeding mothers can be given very safely .
According to the latest guidelines issued by healthy ministry pregnant women can also be now safely given the current available vaccines . so they can also register at covin app.
Minor complications like fever lethargy pain at injection site can be handled safely by taking paracetamol .
Presently childsren are not included in this list.
Mothers can feed their child as soon as required after the vaccination very safely wvith no side effects in the child

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. good evening it is considered to be completely safe for lactating mothers as well as pregnant women so even if you are feeding your baby there is no problem you can definitely go ahead with your vaccination
