hello, we are out of station and can't locate a doctor nearby. my son will be 3 years old by this week. he is having severe cough and cold. is there any syrup i can give him, also please suggest me the dosage . please help

A. he is only having cold and cough, can there be any medicine to suggest , so that i can treat him immediately. please help

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu wthere most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. stegam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
