pls suggest what alternative can be given to my baby for cough, her doctor from today is out of station. can't see my baby continually coughing

A. the baby is 1 year 6 months of age if baby is having severe cough you had to consult some other doctor if the doctor of the baby is not available it is not possible to treat the baby without examination
