hello sir/mam.... my baby is 6 months 15 days old....he has severe cough and cold for 5-6 days .....I took him to child specialist but he gave him light doses and neiboulizer for breathing but suddenly at night he was feeling uneasyness .....then I took him to my family doctor and he advised me to gave him an monocef 1 gm with dexa injection .. mam /sir I want to ask that is this injection safe for 6 months baby or not.....

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. please give bro zedex drops 0.6 ml 3 times a day Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby
