A. Hi parent give saline nasal drops and steam inhalation with baby rub avoid exposure to cold weather if the problem perissts kindly consult your doctor for proper examination and medication maintain hygeine in the area clean with Luke warm water maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output depends on severity type of infection and child's immunity

The Dr has given you an antiallergic only supposed to be quite nice you can also give indirect steam to the child which is what is going to be helpful in this case it normally takes about 3 to 5 days to heal completely if it is still not subsiding and there is a problem then you should consult your doctor again
