Hello. My son is 42 days old. He sleeps for 2-3 hours in a whole day and in night also he sleeps for 5-6 hours. Whole day he became very cranky n fussy n crying a lot. When he awake he only wants feeding. And feeding continue for 4-5 hours. Being a new mom it’s very hard for me to sit for 4-5 hours to feed him. Please suggest something that helps in his sleeping pattern and feeding style. He pees 6-7 times/day and stool 2-3 times/ day

It’s Long time to feed the child it can drive anybody mad you should only feel your child maximum for 10 to 15 minutes not more than that maybe you’re not having a sufficient breastfeeding which is why this is happening you should consult a lactation doctor to have a clarity over it

Your baby is 6 weeks old and that is a growing sprut so he will demand cluster feeding, this phase emd for 2-3 days. I have faced similar issue at 3 weeks, and spoke to a paediatrician for the same. Its quite normal. Feed regularly your baby, i know its very tiring but please be patient and if the baby has same behaviour for more than 3 days then please consult your paediatrician.
