my 45 day old sleeps only approx 8 hrs the whole dya.. night he sleeps for roughly 6 hours and day time only around 2 hours. is it normal

A. probably sufficient sleep for the baby bk. there is lot of individual variation in the sleeping pattern of small babies before coming to your particular sleeping pattern do not worry as long as the baby is taking feeding normally and weight ga
