Hello, My son is 10 month old. from past two days he is suffering from fever when I add the medicine the fever is reducing and again he is getting fever. Anyone suggest the alternate method to reduce fever?

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatmhent also this dose can . be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever isv repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required
