Hello π My son 3 yrs old, he has cold and cough on and off since 3 months.i have consulted a pediatrician as well but it keeps coming and goes away after a long time. He vomits whenever he coughs.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alejx cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the sympgtoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
