hello.... my daughter is 1year 7 months old... she has running nose from last 1week she is not getting control from running nose...i am using saline nasal spary but seems to be not effective..... is there any other medicine for running nose

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine likfe wikoryl,g alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydratiovn .
